The Battery menu is used to manage the “software batteries” that GemStone uses. Software batteries encode a certain amount of “charge”. With each charge, you can open one data file for analysis.
The program keeps track of the files you have opened and allows you to re-open files without using a battery charge. You can purchase additional charges when you need to open additional data files, and you can transfer charges to other users.
