QuantiCALC™ |
New FeaturesQuantiCALC 1.2 SP1The program now supports FCS files containing more than one dataset, such as files created by Abbott’s CellDyn and Beckman Coulter’s FC500. When a multi-dataset file is opened, the program displays a dialog to allow the user to select the dataset which should be used for analysis. Performance has been improved for reading of large data files. The program now supports reading hi-resolution digital data files from BD Diva software. Linear-to-log conversion options are accessed by Edit Panel -> Edit Tube -> Edit Properties for Parameters. The name for the main population graph has been simplified. If you assign a name to a population, only that name appears on the population graph. In auto-advance mode, the last item in the batch will now print and database automatically without having to click the Redo button. The Choose Population dialog now shows the names of the populations in the second drop-down list. Previously, it showed the names of reports. When protocols are opened, the program now displays the database viewer window if it was open when the protocol was saved. You can prevent moving and sizing of individual regions using the Edit Properties for Regions dialog. The "Allow moving" property controls this setting. Rectangle and bitmap report objects now expose a property to set the size of the border. This also allows removing the border by choosing -1 for the size. Macintosh builds now have larger memory requirements (25MB minimum). Labels for zone statistics are now editable. The program now supports setting alert conditions, based on zone statistics. Each zone's statistic section can contain an alert condition. To create an alert, double click INNER portion of the zone statistics object. In order to select the results that you want to display, double click the TITLE portion of the zone statistics object. The program now maintains the printer orientation from one session to the next. When the program starts up in "landscape" orientation, the default report layout is changed to accommodate. When closing down, the program stores its size and location on the screen. It restores itself to that size and position on start up. The Summary report now displays the date and time at the top of the page. A new report option, Add Statistics Link, has been added to the Report menu. When selected, a bitmap copy of the zone statistics is inserted into the main population graph. This object updates whenever the zone statistics change. It is useful when you want to show zone statistics on the summary report page. The size of the object can be user-defined or automatically updated. Double click the object to edit its auto-sizing properties. Bitmap objects now have an auto-size property that allows the object to adjust its size based on the dimensions of the bitmap it contains. The program attempts to open a protocol named "default.pro" in the application folder on start up. If the file does not exist, the default protocol is dynamically created. The Zoom dialog now has a "Whole page" options. In this mode, the full height of the page is always in view. When the Auto-advance button is clicked on the batch toolbar, a dialog is now displayed to allow the user to select the batch item to start with. The program now correctly updates the objects on the report when a new printer or page setup is selected. Bug fix: Protocols that are saved with no data files selected can now be opened without receiving the "missing listmode file" warning. Bug fix: Axis numbers and labels have slightly more space between them to allow for descending characters. Bug fix: When more than one zone was defined on the graph, the median statistics for all zones was reported to be the same. This has been corrected. Bug fix: The program could crash if a Test was deleted and the protocol saved. This has been corrected. Bug fix: The program could lock up during printing on the Mac if a "statistics link" (report menu) object was added to the report and the monitor resolution was thousands or millions of colors. This has been corrected. QuantiCALC 1.2The main population graph name has been simplified. If you assign a name to a population, only that name appears on the population graph. QuantiCalc now defaults to a one zone system. Auto calibration has been added so that an axis can be automatically calibrated to a particular population median position. If enabled, the axis tics are labeled with "AUTO". Regions now auto position Program now remembers the last used protocol path when it starts up. A button has been added to reset the properties of the file batch control.
