iCyt Reflection^TM Features

WinList serves as the front-end analysis software for the Reflection, by iCyt Mission Technology. The Reflection is a high-speed sorter with up to four sort heads and a state-of-the-art modular design. Together with WinList, the Reflection provides new opportunities for flow labs with demanding sort applications.

Monitor sort experiments anywhere

If you’ve got a connection to the Internet, you can monitor your experiment! WinList allows you to select a Reflection™ Highly Automated Parallel Sorting (HAPS) module by using the iCyt Remote Operation Cytometer (iROC) server and then connects to it via TCP/IP, the standard protocol of the Internet. Choose the instruments and features of interest and monitor events in real-time.

Connect to any number of devices

The connection allows you to take advantage of the full power of WinList, monitoring or acquiring from any number of Reflection instruments on a given iROC server simultaneously. WinList connects to a user-defined iROC server, which in turn provides access to all of its attached Reflection HAPS modules.

Control sort decisions remotely

Using WinList’s powerful gating capabilities, it’s fast and easy to create regions and define gates that can be used for sort decisions. With a simple click, WinList transmits sort gates and N-Color Compensation™ to the Reflection HAPS module via the iROC server, enabling extensive sort classifications. And events can even be color-coded in WinList based on how they actually sorted on the device!

Acquire directly from a remote computer

In addition to monitoring remote instruments, WinList allows you to acquire directly from the remote computer on which it is running. Analyze your experiment from another room, at home, even on the beach!
